Big pot for sharing with various ingredients, octopus is fresh and delicious and overall good mix. Can request for less spicy which almost can’t taste any spice.
Love it! Great service, Have thai menu & easy to order.
A delicious lunch during our layover in South Korea. The tteokbeokki was sooo good, perfect seasoning and spice. Our server was attentive and kind. It also looks like they have live music (based on the instruments), probably during the evenings. Would definitely come back if we’re ever in the area!
If you wanna try fresh seafood in Seoul at a crazy affordable price, save this place because you will definitely find what you’re looking for. When we chanced upon ???????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????????? on Naver Maps, the affordable price and its stellar 4.49 star rating perked our interest after a long day of shopping! The place took quite a walk and was down an alley. The interior of the restaurant was cozy with little knickknacks made by university students. While the staff were not proficient in English, they tried their best to help us which we really appreciated. We got their ???????????????????????????????? (????????.????₩) at Spice Level 1 which was to pair well with alcohol and a good cure for hangovers. Amid our great anticipation, the huge pot finally arrived and the plump, humongous octopus made our jaws drop - it was HUGE, you could also see the big mussels, scallops and various twigim, tteok, noodles and ingredients in the pot. It was really PACKED to the brim! It seemed like there was no end to the amount of seafood, and everything was so fresh. The broth itself was rich, sweet, and spicy. The twigim soaked up the broth and tasted so good. The noodles were also especially chewy too! At the end, we ordered rice and they used the remaining seafood and broth to make a ???????????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????? (????.????₩) and topped it with delicious cheese. Hongdae Seabooung is a hidden gem in this area. It’s definitely no tourist trap, and was hands down our most value for money meal the whole trip. Our family and friends were stunned that the Seabokki cost less than S$15 per person! We’re already craving their food just writing and thinking about that divine pot of seafood, and there’s no doubt we’d be back! Follow us on IG @toofoodtomiss for more foodie content!
